How fast and how far does man travel when compared to a bug? yikes!

 

The Carpet Beetle is not as fast as the roach but they can tear up the carpet when they get moving. Some have been clocked at 92 miles an hour. They really like oriental rugs because of the ancient designs and colors are more tasty. They especially like green carpets because it resembles home, the forrest where they came from .

The Common House Fly likes to walk on the ceiling because it has suction cups on its feet, if they dont use them they can get the dreaded suctions sticky fungus that is deadly to flys only. They have been known to fly rapidly at 100 miles an hour across town to the East side where people are more careless with their garbage.

The Cigarette Beetle are so called because they love the smoke of marujuana cigarettes, when they are stoned they think they are the prehistoric dinosaur insect called the Stone Bug. They are known to inhabit back seats in taxi cabs feeding on old marjuna roaches and cigarette butts.  They are very slow usually travel 15 miles a hour because they are stoned most of the time and for that reason they walk in weird strange circular patterns and fart frequently.
The Merchant Grain Bug is always thinking about money  It is often found in the grain elevators jumping into peoples pockets and wallets. A whole huge colony was reported to have gotten into Howard Hughes underwear drawers chewing up those 1000 dollar bills he had stashed.

When clocked, an American Cockroach travels faster and further than man, a roach will travel 240 miles a day for a drink and it zooms at 160 miles an hour, just try and catch one of those buggers when they have a full head of steam. They have been recorded in two places at the same time they are so fast. They are the official Olympic time traveler bug, some have been found on the Discover Space Shuttle, in the Tombs of Valley of the Kings and in the basement of the Great  Pyramids.
